How we chose these restaurants

This is a short list, and no ranking of Phuket restaurants. A restaurant appears because a source below lists it, and the practical details come from Phuket101 unless the text says otherwise. Phuket101 also reports 41 restaurants in the Selected tier, which are not covered here.¹

The MICHELIN Guide Thailand 2026 was announced on 27 November 2025. A Bib Gourmand is Michelin's category for good food at moderate prices, and only PRU holds a star.

The number of Bib Gourmand restaurants differs by source. ThailandAddict lists 19 for Phuket in 2026, and a search summary of the Michelin Phuket Bib Gourmand page gives the same 19. Phuket101 ticks 18, and shows Raya with a Bib tick that the other two do not list.²³¹ This page gives both figures and does not pick one. We left out the venues Phuket101 carries as paid featured listings.

Fine dining: PRU at Trisara

PRU is at the Trisara resort on Srisoonthorn Road in Choeng Thale, Thalang. It serves modern, farm to table food and sources ingredients from its own farm, according to ThailandAddict. Phuket101 calls it the only starred restaurant in Phuket, with one star and a Green Star.¹²

For the address, Phuket101 gives 60/1 Moo 6, Srisoonthorn Road, Choeng Thale, Thalang, Phuket 83110, for Thai Library, the Southern Thai room at the same resort. Treat it as the resort address and check it before you travel.¹

Phuket Town

Five Bib Gourmand listings are in Phuket Town.

One Chun serves Phuket and southern Thai food, and Phuket101 describes it as among the finest Thai restaurants in the town.¹
Naam Yoi serves southern Thai food in a simple setting on a discreet local street, with low prices according to Phuket101.¹
Roti Thaew Nam is at 6 Thep Krasattri Road in Talat Yai and opens from 07:00 to 12:00, and Phuket101 gives the phone number 076 210 061. It says the shop has run for over 70 years and has been listed every year since 2019. ThailandAddict and the search summary of the Michelin list show it as Bib Gourmand, and Phuket101 does not tick it, so its status differs by source.¹²
Roti Chaofa is a halal roti and Thai Muslim curry place at 44 East Chaofah Road in Talat Nuea. It opens from 06:30 to 13:30, is closed on Monday, and has served breakfast since the 1980s.¹
Go Benz is on Krabi Road in Talat Nuea and serves noodle soup and rice porridge. Phuket101 says it has been popular for more than 15 years.¹

Chalong: Mor Mu Dong

Mor Mu Dong in Chalong serves southern Thai food and seafood. Phuket101 describes it as known to every Phuket resident.¹

Near Bang Tao: Kin Kub Ei

Kin Kub Ei is at 81 Srisoonthorn Road in Si Sunthon, Thalang, on the road towards Bang Tao. It serves southern Thai food, opens only from Friday to Sunday between 11:00 and 18:00, and needs a reservation.¹

Roti Chaofa: closed on Monday, morning and lunchtime hours.¹
Roti Thaew Nam: morning hours, 07:00 to 12:00.¹

Phuket Town holds most of the list. The two outliers are PRU in Choeng Thale and Kin Kub Ei in Si Sunthon, both in Thalang in the north of the island.
